Greece and Italy are the very nice, a good choice. I come from Greece. Italy has many attractions and most of them come from the Middle Ages. Greece is very different. Greece has something very ancient, especially classical and archaic period. In Italy are good cities Rome, Milan, Venice, Naples ... At best, the cities of Greece Athens, Thessaloniki, Chania, Syros ... Up to you! Greetings from Thessaloniki

I suggest Santorini in Greece. It is very romantic in my opinion, and has all the things you mention. Make sure to avoid the very touristy.

Do not listen to some Arab trolls - it is very easy for them to live under the protection of Israel. In Greece, we urge the Greeks know how it is here!
