Is it possible to use a ADSL router to broadcast a wireless network from a ethernet port? - wireless ethernet network adapter
The rooms of the University are equipped with wireless Internet access, but with a port connector cable in the living room. I have a Cable & Wireless routers at home, and I wonder whether you could connect to the network via Ethernet UNI and configure my own wireless network of my devices (PS3, PSP, Wii, Phone, etc.) and University Registration is a nightmare for consoles!

No DSL routers require line of work. And before you do this, remember that the use of a router are allowed, and will appear in the records administrator. You need an access point to connect wirelessly to the port, then connect the computer to it.
Probably not, because every device to connect to the network is detected and may require a connection. Also, if you are connecting a router's Ethernet port, it is no guarantee that will not even be able to obtain an IP address via DHCP. Router would expect that some network protocols. I doubt that it would work.
